The Improvisation Series has been ongoing for several years. The premise of exploring images and patterns continues to expand and re-generate. New iconic forms present themselves for examination. While the paintings progress, stories come and go through my mind about what I am painting. Ultimately, a single story evolves and is there for everyone to imagine. What was my personal journey thru the painting is less important than the journey it might bring for each viewer, connecting our shared human experience. The paintings are a mixed media of acrylic, dried pigments and pencil on canvas.
