Kaman participated in Exhibicion de Arte Internacional at the Museum La Casa de La Ciudad de Oaxaca, Mexico with 2 other artists, Lore Eckelberry and Michael Freitas Wood. Kaman was particularly interested to exhibit where there is already deep history of textile work. Five large pieces were hung in the long narrow gallery, all displaying a sense of cross-culture from her many travels. She was delighted to find similarities in her work among the clothing and many fabrics that are indigenous to Oaxaca.
