OpenArtCode group is composed of artists with very different styles and techniques. They combined their talents to exhibit together for the first time at the Grand Palais in Paris, continuing then many times in places such as Venice, Florence, London, and Tokyo. In June 2023, Beanie Kaman was invited to participate and exhibit at the Municipal Art Gallery of Gaeta “Antonio Sapone”,
“Gaeta Boogie Woogie” was done from Kaman’s imagination of what it would be like in Gaeta, after looking at photos. She took inspiration from Mondrian and his grid pieces – using the title from one of her favorites – “Broadway Boogie Woogie”. A debt is also paid to Cy Twombly, who lived and worked in Gaeta – to his free line and movement within the structure.
