In 2015, as part of an exchange exhibition through L.A. Artcore Gallery, Kaman went to Chengdu, China to participate with 12 other American artists at IBOX Gallery. She created the Essence Series for this show, focusing on the universal continuity of human needs and desires. They are on canvas, done with fabric and paint.
