“Syncopation” was a solo exhibition at L.A. Artcore Gallery in downtown Los Angeles, 2014. It was all paintings, acrylic with dried pigments on canvas. The paintings played off the idea of a syncopated beat, always on one’s own rhythm of life. Jazz and improvisation played a big part in their creation as well, allowing for freedom and surprise while reflecting the natural world around us.
